Investment Committee Advisor
Randy is a member of the CAFG Investment Committee and a senior member of the investment team at Taiber Kosmala & Associates, LLC, bringing over 30 years of industry experience in research and consulting to a wide variety of investors including qualified plan sponsors, endowments, foundations, affluent families, and investment advisory firms. Randy’s experience covers all aspects of investment consulting services including asset allocation studies, liability and spending policy modeling, risk budgeting analysis, manager evaluation, portfolio structure reviews, custodial searches, capital markets research, and performance monitoring.
Prior to joining Taiber Kosmala & Associates, Randy held senior level consulting and research positions at several investment firms including Ellwood & Associates, Greenrock Research, William Blair & Company, and Talon Asset Management. Most recently, he served as a member of the investment committee at Greenrock Research operating in an outsourced Chief Investment Officer capacity for a national client base of investment advisory firms. Previously, Randy served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Consultant at Ellwood & Associates where he handled many of the firm’s largest institutional client relationships. He also worked in an investment research capacity at William Blair & Company and Talon Asset Management focusing on quantitative research and security analysis.
Randy holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Loyola University of Chicago and attended the Wharton School’s Executive Education Institute where he completed the Money Management Program.
